Macadamia's how are they Harvested!
Ok so we love seeing how thing are produced naturally and watching and observing how they are harvested, so we were particularly interested to see the mechanical way that Macadamia nuts are harvested. Any guesses? ok so in this instance the nuts all fall to the ground, and are swept into the middle of the row by a rake
These are then sucked up by a sucker machine and sorted by a filter system.
They are then stored in the back of the tractor and then they are sent by hydraulic arm into big bins which are then taken to the factory where they are unskinned and then in most cases roasted. We will pop a video online soon for you to enjoy!
